Good morning my dear friends,
As I write this my wife, daughter and I are (im)patiently awaiting the arrival of the newest addition to the family. Our son is due literally any day now and in the wake of the impending addition, as well as with the lifestyle changes that have come as a direct result of the pandemic, I’ve decided to put the newsletter on hiatus for a while. If you’re a paid subscriber billing has automatically been paused, no need to do anything.
I have lots of projects in the works, including a new book, a new online course and a new Teenage Bottlerocket record and I cannot wait for all of those to get out into the world. In the meanwhile I’ll be at home, trying (like so many others) to avoid catching the virus while maintaining some sort of normalcy through the craziest year most of us have ever seen.
I see the silver lining, I see the chance to focus on my family, to stop overworking and to instead pause and be present. We are so conditioned to be always doing and producing and we suffer deeply because we don’t take the time to practice non-doing and being present. I have time now to be present with my wife, and my kids and I am enjoying every minute. If you need to find me contact info is here or at miguelchen.com
I look forward to the day shows can happen again, I look forward to the day I’ll see you all in person again. In the meantime keep checking in with yourself. Ask yourself daily:
Who am I?
What is the truth?
How can I be of service?
All the answers you need for any situation already exist inside yourself. Remember that at all times, ALL things are possible. I’ll see you on the flipside.
xoxo,
M
Congrats Miggy! Thank you for all the info and avenues to allow me to feel better :)
